Anyone use a short throw shifter?

Do these shorten the length of the shifter as well? I like the current height of the shifter but a shorter throw would be nice.

Shorter throw. Doesn't appear to be much shorter in length.

I have the B&M short shifter in my '04. One of the best mods I've done and makes the driving experience way better than before. It is a shorter throw, a clean and crisp shift points. No binding, no forcing into any gear.

Ps, I got the shift knobs off ebay.

On my B&M it is shorter than stock. I'd say 2-3"ish.

If the one I ordered is shorter, then I am hoping I will be able to find an extension.

well it cost me approx $4k in the end to do my swap (after selling my old 4l and saving 5 months insurance). IF I had put all these fancy trinklets on it would have been more like $9k lol

What kind of swap did you do? I am currently doing a 6.0 lq9 married to the nv3550.

I just swapped in a 5.3L and kept my NSG370/241OR combo. Been running for a year and love it! Stock gauges all work too. Used Daves mounts, Novak trans adapter plate, BP Automotive stand alone harness and Novak tach emulator.

What shifter did you use for the transfer case?

I bought it off ebay. can't remember the name, although it did look DIY. It's a straight rod instead of the OEM angled/curved one.
