I know when I was thinking of doing this build, I couldn't find any pictures of a tj with stock suspension with metalclock overline fenders and 33 inch tires. Here is my blacked out jeep with Pro comp 51 series steel rims with 33x12.50 Falken Wildpeak AT3 on them. Let me know what you guys think!

Tell us about the bump stops. Did you fully cycle the axles without springs?

Looks great nice job.. thx for pic

I'll just say I like it. Get the rears done to tie it all together. Are you planning to add a lift at some time?

Go Wheeling with my club when I can, but not as often as id like.
the guys who wheel hard core will tell you a proper lift will do a whole bunch more capability but if you and the guys you wheel with have no issues, the stock suspension will be more reliable and better on the street than anything lifted. Looks fabulous, if it works... great.

But I agree with JMT, matching rear flares sure would look good.

The sensible ones will just suggest that it is a nice idea to maintain factory suspension travel as a minimum.

what fenders ?

The fenders in the picture from the first post.

I think if you chopped the front bumper so it was even with the grill it would look better.

I can’t imagine that the fenders alone are sufficient for wheeling anything more than a dirt road. There can’t be much up travel. How much bumpstop are you running to keep the tire out of the fender

@jjvw , take a look again at the OP’s second pic where you can see the front driver coil.

So is the MCE.

Almost. MCE is cut back all the way to the hood. The difference is about an inch of sheetmetal. The very slight clearance advantage MC has over MCE (without modification) is the rear wall, but that will still be the interference long before something like GenRight. MCE has the advantage in that the flare is soft. Modified MCE can surpass MC on at least two fronts.

Looks mean! How much bumpstop do you run on the front to prevent contact?
