Please Help! Just bought a 97 TJ. Only 59k miles, one owner. Nice, only problem is all 6 needle gauges on the dash do not work. I have tried everything and feel like have read every forum. Odometer, dummy lights, dome light, etc all work. Here is what I have tried...

1. Replaced fuses...they were not bad, but replaced anyway.

2. Found I’m pretty sure every ground and sanded and hit with contact cleaner. Dipstick, firewall, behind speakers, floor boards, etc.

3. Changed battery.

4. Cleaned pins on dash module with contact cleaner and diamond tweezers.

5. Tested dash module by holding on trip odometer...success.

6. Today received the part #5016261AA which is from an old TCB.

Nothing has worked. I think what would help is knowing what color wires or what pin should give what voltage.

So after lots of time and swimming upstream, I finally got it...it was the computer the hole time. I got a rebuilt one for around $120 on eBay.

Also, if anyone needs a new plug, part #5016261AA which is from an old TCB, PM me. There are almost none in stock throughout the US. Took me a long time to find one. $60

Do you still have that spare 5016261AA part?
