What did you do to your TJ today?

Got my Currie track bar installed today! Woohoo! No more bump steer from the stock pitman arm/dropped track bar bracket mismatch!

Now it’s time for new ball joints, springs, and an Antirock 😎🤘

I had that same issue with the driver’s side floor pan. My jeep had gotten wet once (had to take the carpet out to dry it), and the floor pan wasn’t bad when I looked at it back then, so I though all was well. However, what I didn’t take into account was the years of rain/snow on my boots/shoes during the wintertime. I had the Mopar floor liners, but apparently they didn’t really keep the carpet/floor as dry and protected as I though they did. I ended up replacing the floor pan out of an abundance of caution, which then sparked my desire to redo my interior. I also bought the Weathertech direct-fit floor liners, which have been fantastic.
I almost went with the weathertech floor liners but I saw the quadratec ones pop up for sale so I went with them. So far they're holding up good and catching the leak!

CB setup - never seen anyone mount it here, but I really like it. Out of the way but still accessible.

CB radio wired to the PDC post as @Jerry Bransford suggested

FireRing coax routed down tire carrier, across the bumper, up into the tub, under the carpet to the console, to the back of the CB radio.

Before and after half doors (sorry about the terrible lighting, it got dark quickly)
I love how they follow the tub line, can't wait to see em topless.

How did you get a fine texture like that were you using the supplied gun and what pressure were you using? Looks great thanks.

I spent a day removing and sanding with 320 grit on everything. Then I did a coat of flat black rustolem paint and primer and then I did 2 coats of the raptor liner from the spray can. The stuff isn't cheap at $16 a can, but I'm really happy with how it turned out!

I must say, my favorite turnout were the window triangles. Those things have been chalked from the sun for years and now they're dark and texturized. Worth every penny and the raw fingers from sanding lol!

Today i decided to start cleaning my rear axle, oh my goodness, what a dusty thing.
The problem i don't know how to remove rust from the small nooks and crannies.

i will remove the gas tank on this occasion, i have made preparations for this.

I don't know much about the electrical system, but I don't like what I found under the rear inner fender.

Wire wheels come in all kinds of shapes and sizes.
Try some different ones to get to those tough to reach sections of the housing.

Another option is to get some quotes on having it media blasted.

Have a media blaster nearby? I had my front axle media blasted then chemical dipped for $40. Definitely worth it IMO.

Been slowly working on small projects in between helping the kids with math and other school work. Got the half doors on for the first time. Had to loosen the hinges on the door side to adjust the fit. Then the driver's side door wouldn't open. Well it would open but only when you went to lock the door. The inside door handle would lock it and the lock would try and open it. Took me a bit to figure out I had swapped the rods when fixing the broken latch during the winter. Installed new sunrider hinges on the soft top frame both sides hand failed in different ways over the last few years. Those two projects took me about three days to do.

Need to decide if I am just going to buy a new (new to me) hood, or sand and repaint my old hood. Paint has bubbled and peeled. Local paint place told me it would be about $600 for him to repaint it.

If you have a compressor one of these are handy for rust removal
