... Replaced stupid spring clamps on cooling system with screw clamps. I hate spring clamps, especially at awkward angles...
Most people do the exact opposite since the constant tension clamps are a hundred times better than the worm screw clamps.
This style is priceless especially for awkward angles and hard to reach hoses.I once had a pair of special pliers for spring clamps. Now I don’t. I fought the heater core clamp for several minutes. Maybe I need to get another set of those pliers.

You hit the 2 biggest reasons right there over tightening can damage the hose and or brake the plastic fittings.Yup
Yup, I had those. Either got borrowed and not returned or lost all together. I’ll get another set. What’s wrong with screw clamps? Other than they can break and damage hoses if you over tighten them?

Much easier to use for easy to reach clamps for sure, that is similar to the first style I ever bought..These are good too. I used them on every Constant tension hose clamp on my Jeep back in November. I had some worm type clamps that would leak during changes of seasons. Rebuilt the entire cooling system (except heater core that was changed 2 years earlier) in November and went back to constant tension clamps everywhere. No leaks since.

Was the 9 pieces only used up only in the tub (behind the front seats) or was it enough for front half too ?And done. Dynamat xtreme bulk pack (9 peices) covers the tub really well. If I'm still not happy with the noise I'll get enough to do the doors and tail gate. Had enough off cuts to put some in with the speakers too.

OMG....is that a "killer" Hi-Lift jack on the front of her Jeep?? Just kidding, I just had to say that with all the Hi-Lift haters . I have one on the back of mine as you probably already know.
