I’m looking for thenOEM Rockers for my 05 Rubicon. Wanting the smooth type with the rail. I know I can get a lot of aftermarket rockers but wanting to keep my Jeep stock and don’t do any serious rock climbing yet. Thanks in advance if anyone has it can help me find a set.

I don't know about smooth or a rail but the Rubicon guards are available all the time on ebay or on car-part.com. They also make plastic ones which offer similar protection.

Hi Thanks for your reply. I have those they also made a set that has a rail on it I’m looking for those as my kid needs a step. I think the part number which is discontinued is 82209218.

They were called MOPAR rock rails. I bought a brand new pair for my LJ from a guy on this site a couple years ago. They mate up to the same nutserts as the regular diamond plate Rubicon rockers.

That’s the LJ part number.

Like @pagrey said, I think they were just a MOPAR parts option for the LJ’s and TJ’s.

Kind of like the front and rear bumpers people are always looking for, I guess.

A buddy just came across a set on Craigslist. I was talking about how rare these mopar rock sliders were to find and would be cool to have a set to match the bumpers. Not a week later, he’s all are these what you are looking for? 80 bucks later they were on my way home. Just had them powder coated and will bolt them on tomorrow. I wanted something that bolted on to the factory holes. There was no way I was drilling into my mint body. They are out there, you just have to look. I think the TJ ones are harder to find for some reason.

Honesty I don’t think it would be very hard to modify the diamond plate rockers. Have a machine shop bring them down to a smooth finish, weld on some 1” tubing, then powder coat.

Mine don’t seem all that special, happy to give any dimensions if necessary!

Yes those are exactly what I’m looking for. I have the diamond plate ones without the rails. Did you mount those on your jeep yet?

I have thought about having mine modified with a rail was just hoping I would get lucky and someone would know where I can get my hands on a pair.

Unfortunately your only bet is scouring CL or classified ads. It took me a few months to find mine and technically another forum member found them for me. All of the NOS has been either sold out or is listed at $800+ a pair.

Yes I have been trolling CL and Ebay no luck yet but will keep trying

They are going on tomorrow. I’m actually in Reno also if you wanted to look at them. Mine is actually a Lj but you could get some dimensions off of them if you wanted to build some

They look good I may contact you next week to have a look still hope I might get lucky and someone will locate a pair

I’d love a set for my LJ also. I have the standard diamond style rubicon ones. Take some pictures with dimensions of the tubing and spacing may be worthwhile project.

Those MOPAR enhanced rock rails are slick. I've been looking for a set for over a year with no luck.

Wound up picking up a set of standard diamond plate Rubicon rock rails (for my non Rubi) and just ordered these to add. Gets about as close as possible to the same look, rail can be used as step and no drilling. May be an option to consider.
