What did you do to your TJ today?

Did an easy fix for my CB. A few bucks at Home Depot and came up with this.

Well... I found out that my passenger side upper control arm is bent. Any suggestions on what type of control arms to put on? I’m putting a lift in it in about 6 months, have to pay it off first.

Frame or axle?
Possibly both, depends on how twisted up your suspension normally gets on the trail. Stock arms (that run the same bushing) are designed to flex and twist, a strong and solid arm with those same bushings puts a lot of resistance on the mounts. It’s possible they survive for a while, just something to watch out for.

I got the battery tested to find out I have a dead cell or something. Only 450 cranking amps. Current battery is an autozone agm purchased back in 2015.

It is my understanding that even the tier 1 have bushings that flex, maybe not like a Johnny joint but more like D2 like what Rancho offers.
