I rarely go out of my way to review a product, because I’m usually never 100% satisfied. This has become an exception. Anyone on the fence about dropping the coin, yes it’s expensive, I would suggest get over it. Put it on a credit card or something and be done with it. Hands down the best investment I have made for my TJ. And I’ve spent quite a bit of money over the years upgrading components. Wasted my time on some products and companies which I won’t mention.
This kit was paid for by myself. I was very impressed with how thought out everything was. The instructions that came with were very clear and included excellent pictures, and I believe anyone who’s wrenched on their Jeep shouldn’t have much difficulty with the install. I followed the break in procedure to the T. Let me just say I could not help but keep the ear to ear grin off my face when trying them out for the first time. I was skeptical, I never thought brakes could make me smile so hard. The kit was important to me because I drive my Jeep around town a lot and I’ve had a few “oh shit” moments with idiot drivers. Don’t underestimate the importance of good brakes on a Jeep with big tires. Plus the kit came with a nice little swag bag which included a hat, a sticker, and some chapstick
So if you’re in the market for brakes I would say go for it. You’ll probably save money in the long run by not smashing in the the back of some poor unsuspecting driver on their phone.
