Washed, waxed, cleaned the engine bay & cleaned the IAC. Put some work in today, it needed it.
Today I got to do something I can actually still do myself and not cripple my hands - It's new starter day!

Today I replaced my front and rear seat carpeting (not the tailgate... yet) with BedRug and added new WeatherTech floor liners. Wow! I wish I had pulled the trigger earlier. I'm debating if I should go with BedTred or BedRug for the rear.
BTW, I've got the old set of carpet going up on the "Parts for Sale" section.

If you put stuff back there, go with the bed tred - it's great stuff!
I used it through the whole Jeep, just because I don't like cleaning stuff out of the carpet

That's what I'm leaning towards. The only question I have is how do you think it would hold up to a 100lb Malamute's claws? She doesn't ride back there much but I'd like to get the BedTred so I don't also have to get a liner back there but I'm concerned her nails will poke through.
I went with the BedRug up front because I like the look of carpet better for my daily driver but I did seriously consider it up front as well.

Love the clean lines on your jeep... and like the indicators (signal lights) re-positioned from the fenders to the grill like the old CJ's too.

Nice work on the engine bay Travis its amazing how good it can look with a bit of elbow grease....you could eat your dinner off of that now, super clean.lol

Thanks @Kiwi TJ, I used some stuff called Purple Power Super Degreaser. It did most of the work, but I did have to scrub some of the heavier grime. I never expected it too look like that when I was finished. I about shat when I seen it after about an hours time.:aplastao:
Edit: I wanted to follow up with a picture of the product I used, just in case anyone wanted to try this stuff. Also, I sprayed all the plastic parts with the Meguiar's Tire foam, then wiped it all down.

Well, it's been about a week since I finally got into my second Jeep. Since Saturday, I've done plugs, wires, cap, rotor, oil change, installed front speakers, installed a 7.5" LED trail light, relocated/re-wired existing fog lamps, mounted Hi-Jack to rear bumper, wired in a trailer harness, replaced shift knob, removed cruise control assembly, removed hood prop (broken anyways), removed plastic fender wells, picked up an adjustable hitch, new steering wheel cover, replaced all zipper pulls with 550 Cord pulls, replaced pull strap for tumble seat with 550 Cord... there might be more but I have forgotten.
Switched out OPDA, got zone lift kit in, got a gm filler neck for the gas tank (LJs have a spilling problem), got the roof rack in and lubed up all the zippers on the soft top! Can't wait to drop it tomorrow for the warm sunny weather! What it's gonna look like with the 2" lift and 1" body lift
Removed all canvas for summer. Installed new full USA sunshade. Washed inside and out. Removed the ear muffs on the front bumper. Now heading out for sushi to celebrate the new look. Life is good...

I would, but I'm planning to use the cable for a throttle control lever that mounts to my shifter. (Giving me a third foot)
Removed 2"BB spacers, installed 2.5" OME Springs and relocated rear trackbar with OME bracket, which is something of a PITA. Was a bit of a day but very pleased. The lift is substantially higher than with the BB because the stock springs were tired. Now I'm running the 2.5"OME with Bilstein 5100 and 31x10.5r15's. I do not have any notificeable driveline vibrations so I did not drop my TC. The ride is better, not as choppy, but still a Jeep! Next in line, TT.
The headlights are the Quadratec Stealth LED headlights. They are amazingly bright. I went with these because they were 70% off. (New in box on Craigslist.)
