I don't, but a buddy of mine that I wheel with does. It didn't sound bad, but it was louder than I'd like. I wouldn't enjoy the noise when wheeling for sure. The TJ is loud enough without exhaust, I don't need to add to it.

Yes a 40 series as a muffler, In the first response in this thread @Skylinessuck referenced an Apexi ECV. A device like that is what I was referring to as “some sort of muffler” I can see how this might have been confusing but the Apexi is basically a butterfly valve that goes in your exhaust and chokes the flow when you want to be quiet. This kills your power and MPG. But also kills the sound. So it’s really useful for say that last few blocks into the neighborhood.

It worked well, things got much quieter... but, like you said, it killed power and turned Jeep into a turtle past 45 mph.
Surprisingly improved MPG.

Yeah, bit of a pain to take in and out, but along the same idea, the Apexi can be opened and closed from in the cab which is really nice.
Exactly. Well, exactly would be for when you're getting pulled over by the Japanese cops or going through the gate on to base trying not to piss off security forces, but you get the idea
According to their sound chart, the Flowmaster 60 is quieter than the 50 series delta flow. I've personally heard the 50 delta and the 70 series on 4.0L Jeeps and I think they have the best sound to interior volume ratio.
ANYONE who thinks a Flowmaster Delta 40 is too loud on a TJ must be up in age equal to Nancy Pelosi, Bernie Sanders or Joe Biden. Don't forget your "GET OFF MY LAWN" signs too. Was that too loud? Buy a stock muffler if you want a quiet sounding Jeep or turn your hearing aid down. Mystery solved.

Not really. I was in my 20s when I ran Flowmaster 40s on my XJs. I used to ride straight piped dirt bikes and ATVs, it's not the volume that bothers me, it's the annoyance of the constant resonance and shit vibrating in the interior for hours on long road trips, or trying to sneak out of my ex's house at 2am.
Nothing like having a migraine then driving home 2 hours with a droning Flowmaster. The later model Jeeps with the Cali emissions and 3 cat converters are also MUCH quieter than the earlier ones. The Flowmaster 40 on my 2000 Cali emissions XJ was noticeably quieter than it was on my '90 XJ with only 1 cat.The Banks Monster exhaust sounds pretty mild on my buddy's 2005 TJ and is decently loud on my neighbor's 1999 TJ. There is more to an exhaust system than just the muffler.
ZERO drone from a Flowmaster Delta 40 on a TJ. After having 12 of them and changing the exhaust on all, I know about some exhausts. Like I said, opinions vary more than shock preferences. My rich brother is anal about any noise inside the cab with his 3 year old son and put them on his TJ and JK when it was brand new. The Banks Monster is actually slightly louder on a TJ, but very close in comparison. The main difference is the price.
Sound wise, not really. That's like asking mrblaine if springs effect ride quality more than shocks. Is your A-hole ready to get ripped?
Like I already stated, if you are old and love a quiet Jeep, buy a stock muffler for a ridiculous price. I guess you're one of the guys that think Bilstein shocks ride super smooth on little bumps too.

It was designed not to have that issue.
Jeep is in the garage otherwise I would video the exhaust.
I have the HP2 Hushpower installed with the 6cyl and I like the sound. It CAN get aggressive in sound, depending on how I drive.
