Indy is closer (2hrs away) but still not very convenient. I've found a couple Corbeau dealers in the Detroit area (2.5 hrs away). Still haven't found anyone who has PRP stuff on display outside of Temecula, CA...

I don't think that's stupid at all. That's a major selling point in my mind. I'm planning to add my own seat heaters (in order to save $200 ish). If a manufacturer tells me I can't remove their covers to do so, that throws a wrench in my plans.

You don’t think it’s stupid that you can’t remove and install new seat covers yourself and have to pay shipping for seats both ways in order to have them do that?

Yep, sounds like a huge selling point.

Sorry, I completely mis-read your post. I agree that their policy doesn't make sense. My plans to add my own seat heaters are based on the assumption that I can remove and re-install the seat covers on my own - without having to send them back to the manufacturer.

My comment about the selling point is the fact that I'm able to do the labor on my own. Apologies...

Nice! I haven't tried any of the Exit games, but I did a similar escape room game from a different brand.

Forbidden Island and Desert are great! I haven't tried Sky because the reviews seems so-so.

Gloomhaven is great but very involved. Be prepared for a giant box to arrive! The set up takes a while, but the gameplay is unique and cool. There are a lot of modifiers and cards to manage, so check out the various apps out there that help streamline things. Also look at the different options to organize the box, like the Plano boxes. It's a LOT of stuff!

Mrs Tox and I played the Exit game last night and it was pretty fun and fast to pick up. The way they handle checking answers and hints also worked very well so we were never left guessing the rules. We're probably going to pick up a few copies as gifts.

They look very similar.

One annoyance I have with PRP is that I talked to them about replacing seat covers. If 10 years down the road the seat covers are trashed, can I order new covers for them?

They told me yes, but the only way they'll do it is if I send both seats into them and pay for shipping both ways. They won't let customers install the seat covers in other words.

So that's kind of annoying. I would call MasterCraft and ask them the same question. Why can't you just send me the damn seat cover and I can do it myself?

I know this is thinking long term, but I still think it's a bit stupid.
Since my TJ will be 33 years old 10 years from now, I am not sure buying seats that are easily recovered is a high priority for me.

Comfort however, can’t be overrated. I am curious with PRP (no shipping) just down the highway why @mrblaine went with mastercraft?

I'm in the same boat. I wish there were more dealer options near me to give these things a try first. It's kind of a large purchase...
I get to sit in lots of different seats. I have PRP daily drivers in my crawler. I had Beard. I've sat in and driven for short distances just about every set you can imagine in a TJ. Very subjectively for how they fit me, I've always liked the Mastercraft stuff. That does not mean you will though.

That's because I told them if you call just to bullshit you with whatever story they felt like since you will never own a rig long enough to need seat covers replaced. Prove me wrong. ;)

Seats are very subjective to each of our own bodies. Probably not the best item to take advice on the internet for.

Because I have sat in both many times and MC had Tactical OD Green that I wanted with no welting. I actually picked up my current seats in the crawler at PRP.

They are all likely better than stock.

I’m sure different body sizes fit better in different seats.

But, I’m going to jump at one and see what I think.
