What did you do to your TJ today?

A balmy 57 degrees here in NJ, so I decided to give her a bath.

Liking the blue trend there. Those bungee balls are getting popular. Here in the U.S. we have them at lowes next to the tie down and bungee cord section, not by the tarps funny enough. You might be able to find them at your local DIY store. Do they have DIY stores on that side? LOL
Already bought some, Alien were going to replace but I told them its not worth the trouble, I only mentioned it to them so they keep up on Quality Control. We have Bunnings in OZ but nowhere near as many products and choice as Lowes.
Cheers

I have been looking for this set up, where did you bought it?
I didn't buy it, I made it. I laid out a stock fender with flare, made a very clean cardboard template, had that laser cut, laid out holes around the perimeter evenly spaced between corners, drilled those, pressed in PEM studs, then I welded #4 .062 SS wire mesh to the inside.

Got the new front drive shaft installed and swapped out the badly abused t-case skid with one I've had laying around for way too many years...lol

Edit: if anyone needs the bolt on plate for the Automatic trans mount, I have one you can have, just pay for shipping, bolts and nuts included.

A little rusty but it's way too cold to be painting at the moment. That among other things like the oil pan replacement, will come when I do the body swap

How did you get two of them? Just for a spare?
Back when I had my '97 I picked this one up at a swap meet because I had turtled mine a few too many times and I just never got around to replacing it before the Jeep went away. I actually have another one that came with the 2000 I have now bit it's not the same, I'm thinking it might be for the newer models. Plus it's been turtled too. The one I put on the Jeep hasn't been bent at all.

Me and @Hog are still keeping everything classified.

Headed home from my daughter and her family in Asheville North Carolina to get back to my TJ light wiring and usb work.(this is the part that’s supposed to be relevant to doing something to a TJ )

Wife wanted to detour through Gatlinburg ...COVID 19 isn’t keeping folks at home...it is unreal out here in the southeast. Traffic, shopping, etc.

At the same time on my 1 mile county road we’ve had 5 cases and 3 of them die. Unreal.
