So the UCF bumpers holes do not line up with the original holes for the hooks. So now I can only attach it from the two bolts taken from the bottom because the bolts are too long with out the hooks. Nor have I had a factory sway bar for years. So I can’t use those bolts either

Which one is this? I have the frame width aluminum and it looks nothing like this, lines up perfectly. Is this one made with antirock in mind specifically or something?

Where did you get this? Is it an actual kit you can buy or did you make it yourself? I’m interested in the sunrider tops but not for the price😂
It’s a kit that was posted on the “other” forum. It’s instructions + hing hardware to cut a small segment of the soft top rail so it folds back. Once you get past cutting (use a pipe cutter) your perfectly good top hardware it’s pretty easy. http://www.flipurtop.com/ I asked a bunch of questions and had delivered in under a week.

WSS, please change you avatar to what it was on that other forum. My wife keeps checking out my posts here and now she wants a fluffy baby Yoda for Christmas too. I've already spent/wasted $1,000 on her and I'm waiting to show my surprise on my pair of white socks and some crap I never wanted. I now see clearly why I've been divorced 3 times. #4 after Christmas. 🤫
If you kept up with show, Friday night we learned his name is grogu. I am hoping to get him in a vinyl sticker for the side of my hood with him pointing and have the saying "this is the way"

Of course, it won't make as much sense after tomorrow when I put on my new Bestop Super duper pro like yours in black. Not much green and beige left.

How do you keep up with all those wives? Do we get a clue as to what cost $1k? I don't want to be cheap on my wife.

What is preventing you from drilling that needed hole?

Finally finished installing the hood louver panel yesterday. Made a few mistakes, overtightened a couple of the fasteners, but overall it came out pretty nice. I think I'm going to look for new hardware though, I'd rather have black hardware than stainless. If anyone has any leads, let me know.

Also, Daystar hood bumpers, and I snapped one of the bolts off in the factory plastic footman's loop so I replaced it with a metal one.

McMaster typically has black oxide stainless steel for most of the common stuff.

I added the badges I wanted for this incarnation. It’s nice to have your own vinyl cutter and and vinyl swatch guide. I also had to do some paint work on the mudhorn badges I got off Etsy. And reapplied a better 3m foam tape than they came with. Now onto finishing the rewire of the new tub harness for a factory hardtop. Thanks again to all the people that make this such a great site with so much useful knowledge.

Chickenshit job that I probably wouldn't have bothered with, except I had the paint (duplicolor) on hand - I had the connector out as well so why not:

Although you can buy a generic Warn sticker for $3, if you want the official one for this application, they want TWENTY-FIVE FRIGGIN' DOLLARS for it. Nope, I don't think so!

Received and installed the windstar air filter setup. Running it facing forward for now just to get the feel of it. Making more than enough room as it is to mount the winch control box and remote disconnect as well as the relay for the H4 wiring harness AND the MCl6 power distro box(few couple of weeks).

Need to get the big three done first and reroute wiring the PO did before I clean it all up. Doing this to also to clean things up for the 5.2 swap next Spring and keep the engine bay trouble "free"
