I’ve got p0340, p0320, and p0645, on my 2003 2.4 and I am stumped. Initially had the CEL come on. Got it home, shut it off, then tried to start it again and it wouldn’t go. Some reason a lot of oil had pooled down into the sensor, so I used an air hose to clean out the connector and swapped the sensor with another one I had sitting around and it fired right up.
Next morning it started right up and the CEL was off, which surprised me since I only started it once. Few hours later fired up again on cold start. Drove 20 minutes to an appointment, then 20 minutes later go to leave and it won’t start. Swap in the previous sensor, fires right up. As soon as I get home I shut it off, try to start it and again no start.
I buy a new sensor, swap it in, fires right up. Take it for a drive to get things hot, get home, turn off, then this time it starts right up. At this point I figured the other two sensors were bad. This morning it cold starts fine going to work, going back home for lunch, and started fine after I shut it off after getting things hot, the CEL actually cleared.
30 minutes later I go to start it up and it decides to no start again!!
My only guess is it’s heat related?? I’m stumped on this one. My AC also works fine, so I’m not sure what that code is on for.
