Hi, my name is Michael and I live in Germany. Driving american cars and bikes all my my life, I bought a 2004 Wrangler Rubicon from the first owner with about 50000 km on it. All stock. I have been reading here a lot and also learned a lot. Thank you all.

Welcome to the forum! I didn’t think they exported Rubicons from the U.S. in 03-06. In fact, I don’t believe they did. I wonder if perhaps someone imported it?

Thanks for the welcome. The Jeep was bought new in Germany in 2004 from an authorized Dealer. It is indeed an export model as is seen in the build sheet also.

They did. At least the Jeep dealership in Bitburg had one when I was there in 2003.

They were putting V-8's in YJ's in the export models when I was in Germany in the late 80's. As far as I know this was a stock option.
