What part of this is my fault ?You really don't lol. The baby was napping and my 3 year old was sitting still for once in her life so I decided to retreat to the garage. @Midnight LJR was explaining to me the process a while back and I figured it would be a fun thing to try.
If you really want to though I'm available most nights after 7pm
It's all @Plumber1
Fender swap. Your jeeps too good looking. What part of this is my fault ?
Future owner? What’d I miss?I'm pretty proud of myself given I have no real clue what I'm doing most the time.
At the very least the future owner one day will be happy I covered the primer in my left over PS5 rattle can when they peal off the sliders/corners one day.

The miata has been gone for a long time. After fixing it and having some fun with it, I sold it, and the funds went to the purchase of the atlas.IIRC, he already owns a Miata.
If you decide to go that way I suggest you go with Alum.Fender swap. Your jeeps too good looking.
They are on order, I got the alum 4" non-Highline version F/R. 9.3lbs sounds pretty amazing. If you decide to go that way I suggest you go with Alum.
per Genrights website: Aluminum fenders are a great way to save weight, only weighing 9.3 lbs each, compared to the steel version, which weigh 21.75 lbs. each! That's over a 24 lbs. reduction!
I am sure you will be happy with themThey are on order, I got the alum 4" non-Highline version F/R. 9.3lbs sounds pretty amazing.
I may have found a buyer for the MC set up so I'll be pulling the fenders tonight. With any luck, GR will ship out the fenders soon.
How did you fill the holes? Bondo?I'm pretty proud of myself given I have no real clue what I'm doing most the time.

I used the welder to build up material around the holes, quick taps on the trigger, then used the grinder to make them flush filling in pin holes if needed. The next step would have been sanding, bondo, paint, but I skipped the bondo since they will be hidden anyways and it was more of a thing to do.How did you fill the holes? Bondo?
