Front tire turn clearance

Installed 35's and was addressing the steering stops when I noticed I only have about 1/2" between the Anti-Rock and tire. I have about 1" in the rear to the lower control arm. My wheels are 16x8, 0 offset. Tires are 315/75R16.
My question is how much clearance is best between components and the tire when turned?
Will wheel spacers help in this instance?

Ah! I will have to do this. The reason I asked about the 1/2" is don't tires tend to deflect when running low pressure and turning?
the low pressure bulge would be at the bottom, no?. (deflect?)
i was thinking more about the top of the wheel leaning in as it articulates.
 
Well I have one more concern. I noticed at the u-joint on the front axle, the ears ( not sure what their called) are contacting each other at full steering lock. Is this normal or should I take some steering out?

You could grind the yokes for clearance or make the changes for your steering stops to eliminate the contact and binding.

As much as it seems that it’s no big deal, I would want to eliminate that contact before putting a whole bunch of miles on it.

i have this issue as well, the aftermarket shafts don't allow what the factory shafts did. it was all assembled when i found this and have just not pulled apart to correct yet.
1 might assume not to mess with the thin meat of the ear surrounding the joint, and take my easement from the valley of the mating part. is this correct?

I assume the same thing since the thinner part is already the weaker part. If I saw that happening to mine I'd grab the Dremel tool and do some grinding. I'd even go buy a Dremel tool if I didn't already have one before I took all that apart again.
