Looks like HF may not sell the kit anymore but plenty over on Amazon. Take a look for 'Tie Rod Adjuster Tool'.https://www.stu-offroad.com//steering/align/align-1.htm
I've never done the spray paint method in this link though. Just pick a feature on the tire (sipping, edge of a tread patch, etc) and be consistent front to back on that feature.
Do yourself a favor and pick up the set of hooks to turn the steering link links and the locking straps. HF sells a kit that's served me well. Otherwise, a 24" monkey wrench works too.
Well, 4WP only installs stuff the customer wants. I’m sure that customer thinks that Jeep is da shit.
I plan on doing a lot of rust prevention on my frame over the summer, I'll probably go ahead and do the whole eastwood paint and then fluid film before winter. My frame is mostly good now but I want it to stay that wayMake sure to prep the inside of the frame with some type of rust prevention/correction just to be safe.
Rust, it never sleeps!View attachment 232811
Finally got around to installing drain holes in my frame, largest bit I had was 3/8 so hoping that's large enough.
Also started the process of fixing my fender rust and painting the fenders, today I got my flares off, stripped all the rust of the fenders and the inside, undercoated it, and put bondo on. Hoping it comes out better than on my last car, if its terrible I can always get new fenders easily enough.

Started on the rust under my doors too, and found out the previous owner had already put bondo there and must have not gotten rid of all the rust . So turns out that be a bigger issue than I though, guess I'll "have to" buy some sliders to cover it up after I get rid of the rust
That’s a great idea using the head of a carriage bolt, Zorba. Nice piece of fab work.Ham radio mic.

Crude but effective. Now the mic will fit the same clips that EVERY OTHER RADIO MIC ON THE PLANET will fit! In my case, I'm using a magnetic clip. Apparently, nobody sells this dingus, so I fabbed this one out of a 3/8" carriage bolt. Works like a champ!
Thanx for your kind words - it could have been better, but it'll do.That’s a great idea using the head of a carriage bolt, Zorba. Nice piece of fab work.
Loosen the two bolts on the draglink adjustment sleeve and turn it until the wheel is straight, drive it and repeat if it moved.I know this is an older thread but curious how you fixed the crooked steering wheel?
I’ve been thinking about those hella lights. Any good? I like the black old school covers that come with themNew in the last week: clutch master, pedal pads, coolant container, led fogs/tail/back up lights, s-pod switch panel, replaced blown dash speakers, fix telescoping steering wheel, Morryde tailgate reinforcement mounted & painted/reinstalled door panels... then cruise to the beach
