Hey guys, I need some help. I raised my jeep up 2" and I am not sure if need to put an adjustable track bar or get a bracket or if the oem bar is just fine. I have not connected the track bar yet because I am rebuilding everything. Also, will anything else need to be extended for a 2" lift? Any advice helps. Thanks

2 inches is sort of the threshold of where you could go either direction as far as the rear is concerned. If you are not doing a sye then you can probably get away without a relocation bracket (or adjustable track bar) in the rear. For the front stock will be just fine no matter what for 2”

The rear I had to get the relocation bracket for sure. It was way off. The front I am not too sure.

2" is enough to pull the front axle just off center. it's fixed by relocating the hole or getting an adjustable TB.
the drag length should have some adjustment.

At 2" the front can be left stock with no problems. Unless your OCD kicks in. Then I'd get an adjustable bar. I'm not big on drilling a new hole at the axle. You could do that, but (in my head) it would weaken the bracket. That's just my opinion.

2"...you don't need to change anything but...***

Get some proper length sway bar links that disconnect.
(Most don't mention the above and it's silly. The sway bar really limits a great off road suspension design.)

Shocks for new length.

Done!!

Please note...
If your track bar isn't in good shape then yes it should be replaced. If it's not giving you any bad feedback leave it alone.

Moreover make sure your sway bar links are reconnected before getting back on road.

You will need to turn the adjustment sleeve to re-center your steering wheel but as I mentioned you only need shocks and sway bar links that disconnect
Thanks, your advice is helpful. Do you have any suggestions for which sway bar links I should get? I needed to get new ones anyway and I think disconnectable ones are the way too go.

It's not really a complicated component but the less expensive the disconnect is the bigger the pain the ass it is to connect/disconnect.

If you can swing it... get JKS.
Adjust them properly...(you want your sway bar parallel to the ground or even slightly pointing up (slightly)

When adjusted properly they disconnect and reconnect like a dream and definitely worth the extra money.
JKS2000 is the part number. Good for 0-2" lift
