What did you do to your TJ today?

I won't bore you with pictures, but I replaced my turn signal switch. Signals wouldn't cancel, and I was the dork driving around with the blinkers on all of the time, but not anymore. Look at me!

So I now have a constant USB port, and the CB/scanner works with the key off, BUT the third constant bank does not work, the orange wire, I had exactly 3 items to power without the key. So much for "painless wiring", I now have to unmount the fuse box and fix the connection. What a pain in the butt.

I weather stripped my drivers door. Has leakage puddling on the floor mat after a hard rain. Started at the bottom, then up the frount of the door the all the way around. Had about 2
Ft
of weather strip left.

Waiting for it to rain again to see if it worked.

Took the jeep to Jiffy Lube today (I know, I know). But for $30 bucks I got a new filter and 6 quarts of oil. Plus they washed the windows, topped off the fluids and even vacuumed out the inside. Too good of a deal to pass up. the only downside is that they aired up my tires to 40 psi. I now need to drop it back down to 30 ish per tire. A minor inconvenience.

After months of dirt and grime sitting on the paint and a year out in the NE salt and snow, I took my TJ for a compound, claybar and wax. Not sure if thats the exact order, but it turned out way better than I expected for 16 year old original paint.

Wow, that shine looks great. I agree, for 16 years old it did clean up nicely.
