What's your opinion on the look/durability of the seat cover? Does it hug the seat well or look sloppy?
Mastercraft vs PRP seats (pros and cons)

Did you get the Baja RS with fixed headrests? If so, did you get a standard seat-back height?
Also, did you go with lumbar support. If yes, was the quality/result worth the money spent?
FWIW, the Mastercraft lumbar support is accomplished mechanically with a hand dial that drives a shaft and metal bows that run vertically up the seat back. It works very well. Some seat makers use air filled pillows for lumbar.
It was worth the added expense in my opinion. I mean c'mon man, you're ordering a custom seat, might as well make it comfortable!
I just ordered the basic seat on the site. I've not driven the rig yet.

Nice! I asked because the opinions of PRP’s lumbar support weren’t all favorable. I like that MC doesn’t use a blood pressure style hand pump. I want decent results if I’m going to spend the money.

I put off purchasing seats for a long time, mostly due to cost. I guess after a while you run out of things to spend money on?
Honestly though, the suspension seats have been a game changer for us. No longer do I dread the thought of spending 8+ hours bouncing around in my Jeep. After a long day on the trail, my back, neck and shoulders are seriously thanking me now. I wish I'd bought suspension seats along time ago. Lesson learned.
If you can wait until black Friday it was a significant savings from both companies.

My transmission is jacked up, and I plan to re-gear to 5.38s (just received locking hubs in the mail), so my wallet can definitely wait until Black Friday.
it doesn't hug it tight, its also got a flap sewn into it that you pull to the front of the seat with velcro tabs to create a tent over your seat so it doesn't fill up with rain or snow.
so anyone wanna say why the Corbeau gets no approval from the hoard?

I’d take either of those dates, I’m 6+ months out from a bunch of orders last spring.
My buddy has the Corbeau Baja SS (fixed back) in his TJ. They have a higher side bolster than the MC Baja RS seats. It's a bit of an art to climbing in and out comfortably.

Correct, nothing stood out to me suggesting poor quality. I do know that Corbeau is made in China for what it's worth. The Corbeau seats had a little different feel to them as compared to MC. I felt like I sat down in them further and that they fit more tightly in the hips. I'm not a large guy by any means (34"waist) but I can imagine a thicker individual being rather uncomfortable in the seat.
Again, I encourage you to try before you buy. Or at least verify the return policy.
