I have been getting a P0388 code, and my jeep is having a rough time turning over/starting and usually takes two tries to get it started up. I don’t have have any issues once it’s started up and it’s only started doing this recently and no other problems before that. I know the code is an ASD replay issue but i haven’t really been able to find any good info on what could be wrong and how to diagnose/fix. Any advice or tips would be appreciated.

Remove the ASD relay and test the coil resistance; should be around 70 ohms across pins 85 & 86. Inspect the relay receptacle to ensure the clips are not oxidized, pushed inward into the receptacle or the relay terminals fit loosely into the clips.
You may need to inspect the wiring underneath the Power Distribution Center (fuse/relay block on passenger fender well) that goes to the ASD looking for frayed wiring.
