What did you do to your TJ today?

Is kinetic different than other synthetic lines?
kinetic are the ropes that stretch up to 30% providing a "softer" yank for both vehicles. TRE sells both kinetic and tow ropes but I'm not sure of the differences in construction

Put the white letter out. Something just didn’t look right to me for my 97’ so went back to the old white letters out..just looks better with original gambler wheels

Long time lurker, first time poster!

Just ordered a Warn 10k winch with synthetic rope and new electric cables Jeep cables.com and a yellow top battery. I've had good luck with them in the past.
Awesome, you get to spend up to $500 as a new member without having to get approval.

The Forum AfterMarket Accessories Panel can e-mail you the application for future purchases.

I’m on the Auxiliary Lighting Team, It’s like a sub-committee. My wife was so proud when I was selected. Chris said I get a windshield sticker too.

Tires sure lose air fast here in Florida - the MBZ and Fiat were both 5 lbs low, but the Jeep was only 2 lbs low - I guess because it isn't driven as much. In any event, the Jeep and the two cars all were aired up today - and I got the old water pump out of the Jeep, gasket scraped off (why do WP gaskets ALWAYS stick to the block and NEVER to the pump?!?), and a new heater pipe installed into the new pump as the old one was all bubbled up from water getting under its powder coating. For once, "Brick and Mortar" came through, the Dorman pipe was actually in stock at my local O'Reilly's. I had't purchased one ahead of time as there was some confusion as to whether or not the Gates pump came with the pipe or not.

@Jerry Bransford - do "DuraLast" WPs come with the heater pipe? :D ;)

Will do another check to make sure all of the old gasket is off, then install the new pump. Hopefully tomorrow...

I feel your pain, have done heater cores twice and evap once, it’s a terrible job but I’ve got it down to hanging the dash from the sport bars with ratchet straps.
Recently helped a friend with a major rebuild on a 98 Ram and the dash was disintegrating from sun damage so we replaced all the plastic parts and it looked like that on the garage floor, not a fun job.

Out of curiosity is this what the drain hole in the cowl area is meant to look like? Looks like there is something missing

Good question...I'll have a look at mine tomorrow for ya as i may be different for export TJ's like ours. ( i did clean mine a couple years ago but cant remember what It looked like under there)...I know the passenger side bracket that holds my cowl in place was rusted and is barely doing its job...I job for the sunny days
