If you carry spare fluids (coolant, water, motor oil, gear oil, ATF, brake fluid, etc.) on the trail, how and where do you store them? I'm looking to steal your ideas because my current method doesn't work too well.

That would be my next best idea, but I've got the spare inside the tub, so it wouldn't fit.
Never seen that one before, but it does look handy. That space in my Jeep is about to be taken up by a Tuffy cargo drawer though.

If you have the aluminum dividers quart containers fit in the small sections just fine. Just bring drinking water, I'd leave the coolant at home.

My wife brought an old wooden explosives crate home the last time she went up to WV to visit her mom. It was something her late father had. It's about the size of 1-1/2 milk crates but a little longer on one side and a little narrower on the other. As a former Air Force Weapons Troop, I want that old explosives crate to carry fluids in the Jeep when needed. She won't let me have it though. LOL Wouldn't even let me set some bottles down into it to to see if the size is right.
I got measurements of it though, so I might be able to make something similar some day if I'm really bored.

This is the one I am talking about. 7" deep and will be used mostly for tools and spare parts. a quart bottle (ATF, motor oil) would need 9" minimum, and the gear oil, brake parts cleaner, and other bottles are even taller.
I removed the plate under the brake booster that was for ABS. This opened up a compartment that I got a half gallon milk jug and a quart of motor oil to fit in. A month or two later the milk jug sprung a leak from rubbing on the metal. Worst part about is that I thought I had a radiator leak when I found coolant on the ground.

kinda off topic, but at the minimum water and oil. There are some good threads on packing lists here. The challenge with packing things in a TJ, as I'm sure you know, is the limited space.
The order was made 2 months ago. I don't need that much storage and wanted to leave space for the spare and other stuff inside the tub.
