try 30k on a jeep bought for 8500.
I don't think about how much I've spent (and re-spent) vs the purchase price. That's not the way to win the game!

Can we count gas cost too. I've spent roughly 30k in gas just to drive the stupid thing

Well now i trailer it to trails and only cruise around town with it so my gas costs have significantly decreased.... but i bought a 2005 F250 diesel as my DD so that i could haul with it and that beast gets 13mpg so diesel costs have offset gas costs.
Now that I have this TJ disease....The Bentley has to go to fund the addiction!
Actually, the 3 previous owners of that Bentley have managed to lose $220,000 after only driving it 11,000 miles. I bought it for $30K. It makes me think the TJ disease is not so bad.
Now that this thread has gone completely off the rails...
What kind of powerplant do they have? And how did you get that for 30k?
It is an 04 Arnage T. 6.75L twin turbo. A neighbor was selling it. They paid $65K in 2016 for it. I bought it for my wife. It was cheaper than a new car!
I drive the Jeep. Much more my style.

Oh and next time around, get yourself an S Class. You'll get the same experience with 85% of the class, with 10% of upkeep problems, also, you can put a warranty on them and drive with (almost) no worries.

Funny thing is my wife doesn't drive it. Because it is like this 11K mile museum piece. I am going to sell it and get her something new. It's been fun while it lasted.
Find her a low mileage 12 or 13 Mercedes S550. You will not regret it. If you wanna spend a lil more, a 15/16 has updated tech, but the deivetrain is the same.
I know jeeps and fuel mileage don't mix. Any idea what mileage you are getting with the 5.13s. I only ask since my kids are young so I often take them on more camping mild wheeling but also use my jeep for more east cost rock crawling. Mileage now with 35s and 3.73 with the 6 speed is about 11 or 12. But I don't use 5th much under 75mph.
Around 12, but I expect that to improve when I replace my cats this next week. I can stretch it to 14 but that’s being really gentle and driving down hill mostly
