    Firewall Electrical Connectors

That's what I thought. I guess I just need to give it a little more grunt. Thanks!

    Firewall Electrical Connectors

Is there a trick to disconnectig the wiring connectors at the top center of the firewall on a 99 tj? I'm taking the body off to work on the frame over the winter and these really don't want to come apart. Figured I'd get some input before getting too aggressive.

Guidance needed on what order I should do mods in

I took a look at the tires last night and they are 285/70r17, so essentially 33”. There is 3.5” between the top of the rear tire and the outside edge of the rear fender. There is only 3” of space in the front.

Guidance needed on what order I should do mods in

That is something to think about. It is going into the shop to have safe t caps installed at the end of the month. I will have to drive it off road some to really decide what to do first. You just reminded me that it doesn't go into 4L as easily as I would like and tends to pop out if I don't...

    Clicking / jerky turning

So you have wheel spacers/lug pattern adapters? It probably is not this, but would be easy to check. I was once getting a noise similar to what you are describing but from one of the rear wheels. Then shortly afterwards the bolts from the wheel spacer sheared off while driving, turning my Jeep...

Guidance needed on what order I should do mods in

That is my plan. I'm just trying to think through possible future modifications in my head. I'm halfway thinking to order the 0-2" shocks knowing that I will have to purchase smaller springs if I later do a suspension lift because I could go ahead and put them in (the ride is pretty rough right...

    Found a Hard Top

Nice score. I have both tops, but rarely remove the hard top. I second the rubbing alcohol suggestion.

Guidance needed on what order I should do mods in

Planning on doing a few mods in the upcoming months. I will be using the Jeep as a driver and offroad somewhat regularly. I don't know how to describe the difficulty of the trails it will be going on other than to say that they can be done by ATVs and Side x Sides. There are rocky sections (not...

Key can be removed in the ON position

My TJ key comes out in either position and my old XJ key did the same thing. I thought it was a Jeep feature! I like it though. I use it to warm the Jeep up on cold mornings. I just lock it up and take the key with me while I finish getting ready.

    Jeep Gladiator

I really wasn't expecting to like it, but I think it looks great. Especially with the roof off. When it is time to replace the F150, I will be looking really hard at the Gladiator. It brings a lot of fun to the table with the removable top and doors and all of the things we love about Wranglers...

Where do get small replacement parts?

Thanks! I will look into those.

Where do get small replacement parts?

Where does everyone get small replacement parts? When I was more into the Corvette world there were some companies that had catalogs with common replacement things like weather stripping and floor mats and whatnot. I don't have a dealership near me, so I would need to have items shipped. I am...

    SafeTcaps or bar steel?

I'm in the same boat with the rust and am exploring similar options. I don't know a lot about welding, but the Vulcan series welders from Harbor Freight seem to be well liked by reviewers. You may want to check out if you are looking for a bang for the buck welder. I have not used one or even...

What are these and what's missing?

I don't know for sure, but they kind of remind me of a fuel pressure gauge kit.

    New from Kodiak, AK

Yeah, I have been watching a lot of videos on YouTube about it. I just need to get under there so I can see which length of safetcap to order. Luckily, we don't have to rely on this vehicle to get to work so I can take my time and try to get it right.
