I added a PowerTrax no slip locker to my Dana 30 front differential.

The above wheels are 15x8, don't remember back spacing. I was getting some rubbing on tight turns. No longer have any rubbing. I did add front studs to the rear wheel hubs because the rear studs weren't long enough to thread the nut completely on.

Sure sounds like you've located the problem, the wiper arm is the culprit. I know of no fix other than replacing the arm itself.

What about a steering box brace? Is it needed after adding a front locker? I can see how lockers can add more stress to the steering gear, so I guess it makes sense. I have a 79 Chevy 4X4 that I added frame support for the steering gear because they are known for cracking the frame at the gear...

Sounds like you may have excessive road force variation. Most, but not all shops have tire balancers that can measure this variation. The balancer will show the tech at what spot to spin the tire on the rim to reduce the amount of variation to a level that won't be detected, if possible. It can...
