I made the mistake of driving my work truck to get a prescription for my wife it’s 2wd. The driveway was slushy and so was the road so not a big deal and it needed gas, by the time I got back it was snowing hard and the temp had dropped again, had a hell of a time getting home and the truck is at the bottom of the driveway it couldn’t make it.
At this rate I may not make it out of Lake County! Surrounding mountains are covered , and it's 34* right now! Yikes!
Did you pick out a GMRS radio yet? I could easily communicate with you up there via the Oroville or Chico repeater.
We are on CB 24 most of the time. We will be just north of you guys across the canyon.
I only have a hand held CB now. I won't bother trying to reach you with that, but Tom has a mobile CB in his Jeep, so he might have a chance.
