TNT Ford Dana 44 high pinion truss

You'd think someone would pickup the slack and make one that was similar. As I said before I'm not knocking the TNT truss & if had been available when I'd built my axle I might have bought one.

Look forward to seeing your build and how things work out. So stick around and start a build thread.

I'll have to start one I'll need some advice in the fine tuning.

Out of curiosity I decided to call Rubicon Express and yeah it sounds like they were owned by procomp but now are owned by wheel pros. They discontinued that kit with no plans on re releasing it.
I'm surprised Barnes 4wd doesn't make it I'm sure they have something similar enough that you can piece together.

Rubicon Express is owned by Tranamerica, which also owns 4WheelParts, ProComp, Poison Spyder and Smittybilt. So, cream of the crop of the bottom of the barrel group of companies.

Knowing what you know and what you did for yours, what would you advise others to look for a criteria when selecting or building a front three link?

Biggest thing for me is if you are using a V-8 try to have one that has a starter on the passenger side or if possible move the think to the side without the starter. That has been my biggest issue. I moved the axle far enough forward to not interfere with the crank pulley. And triple check your clearances when figuring your bumps. Since I haven't had mine on the trail yet I can't say what else might pop up but hopefully in the next month or two I'll finally get it out on the trail and verify everything is working as planned.
With my setup trying to fit the steering and trackbar was harder than if I'd had coils or coilovers. But I knew this going into it also.

And that's why I'm just working with the 4.0 it took so much brain power to put all this together it gives me a headache thinking about putting a different engine in it. Although if I ever did it would just be a little diesel or the biggest baddest V8 I could easily manage.

You mean like an LS?

Nope, If I'd known when I had my tranny built that I was going to do a 3 link I could have gotten a Jeep 46RE which has the starter on the passenger side. Of if I'd used a different kit I could have moved the upper link to the passenger side.

There are work arounds but you have to have the whole plan laid out first. And since I didn't I've had to make adjustments for that.

any progress?
Meh not much cold weather makes me lazy and it took me far to long to realize my knuckles are set up for high steering on opposite sides so I just shipped the passenger side off to wfo to be milled. I should pick back up more as the weather gets nicer and will post updates of the truss as I get it welded in.

It's the 23 gallon tank and yeah I know exhaust will be annoying to figure out. Probably just dump it out the side not sure yet.

Out the side is not easy or even possible with a stretched TJ. If you had an Unlimited, then you could do this.

That looks good!, unfortunately sound like I wouldn't be able to do that. Would you know if out of there rear is even a possibility for that tank or if just has to turn down somewhere before the rear axle. A good amount of information on this tank except exhaust methods. At least when I've searched through forums and Facebook groups.

It is possible but most won't cut up a perfectly good tank to pull it off.
