What did you do to your TJ today?

Welp on memorial day I talked about how I lowered my jeep cause it sagged with the winch and plate
Welp she's up a bit higher than stock with the BDS 2" springs and they did the trick ! It sits level with the rear now which is alright....I prefer to have a bit of rake for when I'm hauling parts, dirt, wood, etc. But it rides great now 😁
Installed my headlight bezels too and rotated my tires while I was at it ! Drove it to 7-11 for a drink and enjoy the view
Started at 2:38 pm and I'm finished at 4:20 as im posting this😉,not bad

Edit- here's a before shot

Today is 80° and 35% humidity in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia. That means one thing...TOPS OFF!

Of course, rain is expected by Monday, so I'll be scrambling to put the top back on tomorrow night. But until then, I'm going to enjoy this.
Oh, I got my WRG winch line spooled on this morning. Unfortunately, the stinger is so low that it doesn't allow me to use the parking area built into the fairlead for the thimble. This will work for now.

Good lord.....My man you got a beautiful jeep!
I regret not waiting but in my situation I needed a vehicle, all the red&yellow Ljs I wanted were either modded to hell with crappy parts and beat or they were just complete rusty P.O.S's with a high price.....long story short after 8 months of looking i ended up with a Bone stock white Lj for a good price😁....the end 😆

Thanks. Yeah, she's a keeper. I bought it from the original owner 6 years ago when we lived in SoCal. Now that we live in Virginia, I need to keep the elements at bay.

DIY speed holes weren't giving you enough performance lift so you went full 'no hood'?

Don't need a hood if a turbo is gonna take place of all the space😉

Haha, yeah I took it off cause I cam swapped it and did a whole bunch of other stuff on November i think, left it off,put it back on,months later i took it off....
Once I blow my current motor with either nitrous or a turbo.....or both my future stroker will take its place so for now on,No hood it is cause im lazy....🙂

Love that wheel & tire setup. What size are they?
Thanks ! 15x7's 3.61"Back spacing" Nomad Convoy wheels by Nomad wheels wrapped around on some cheap 31x10.5r15 Dextero DAT1 (Walmart tires)
they ride great actually very little road noise, they do quite well on the rocks all things considered, alright on the wet pavement and when I want to get sideways they'll let me have fun while in control 😀

Sub 400$ tires,I like em and I may get them again if I don't get my mods saved up before jumping to 33s before my current setup wears down!

Why not ?

I've heard mixed results from it. I've heard that you gotta take it off within a few years or it will become extremely difficult to remove after that. And then, it still can leave a residue behind that can be really tough to remove as well.

It is purely an aesthetic thing because I absolutely cannot find a normal looking grille cover that isn't an angry eyes grille or mad grille.

And I'm feeling lazy.

Drove it to the airport to park it for the week. I've never seen Louisville (KY) airport parking lot so full that the surface lot was closed and I had to park on the top of the parking garage. Usually I park on the 1st level of the garage. Summer travel sucks for those of us who travel for business.

I know bad parking job. I was in a hurry and I wanted more room to not door ding the truck next to me. On the bright side, I could park in the "compact" parking spot.

Yeah that is the "downside" persay, i wonder if its truly a problem even with a good brand of wrap like 3M ? I may do that myself on wrapping the grill in a satin/almost matte black. I like the way the new jeeps have that option to black out the grill and i love it ! Especially since it still has the outline of the body color still in which the TJ naturally doesn't have due to its lines compared to a JL/JT. I know a member on here has a grill cover that he bought black but it isn't a ugly angry eye one though!
And yeah tell me about it on being lazy, ive yet to put my hood back on on😆Oh but hey doing a lift up front ? and a winch too ? Hmmmmm no problem, But i draw the line at putting the hood back on 😆 My only excuse being that im putting a stroker innit in the next few months! But yeah im just being lazy🙃

Barricade used to make a grille cover which is exactly what I was looking for, but they don't make it anymore.

Past week replaced the Oil Pump Drive Assembly. Last 2 days replaced the heater core, A/C evaporator & accumulator. Watching U tube videos & reading on how to refill the A/C unit. Bought gauges, vacuum pump, leak die & PAG 46 oil. Going to try and master a auto A/C. If all else fails it will go to the pros. Oh yea, for my birthday (72) my son bought me a 10" subwoofer. This opened up a new can of worms. So a new Kenwood head unit, Kicker speakers front & sound bar, are on its way for the weekend install.

The 3M vinyl costs about $35, goes on easy and comes off just as easy IF you use heat. Rubbing alcohol and an eraser wheel takes any residue right off. I used it on my old car and it still looked good 6 years later.
