What did you do to your TJ today?

I ordered a Smittybilt winch plate from 4WP and it has been processing for over a week. I found someone selling a Rough Country winch plate that appears to be the exact same thing for $30. I bought that and cancelled the $110 order for the Smittybilt plate.

I hope to be posting pictures later this weekend of the winch installed.

My new windows scratch if I look at them wrong so I scored a set of beater windows for the trail.

Elevated or flat? I have an RC elevated - its well made and works fine EXCEPT in my case, the winch (M8000) is too close to the hawse bolt holes - jam nuts were the only thing that would fit inbetween, and I had to use the right length bolts and shim them outward with a washer or two behind the heads. Sorry, I don't remember what length bolts I used...

Since last summer I have been dealing with adding a few ounces of refrigerant to the A/C system.
Finally decided to troubleshoot the leak further and resolve the problem since this summer appears that is going to be a really HOT/HUMID summer here in Florida.
Found the original (2000) OEM high pressure line seeping oil where the braid meets the fitting which means a refrigerant leak along with the condenser had a crack where the fins meet the header.
Replaced the condenser, high pressure line and O rings along with adding approximately 16 oz of R134a and an ounce of oil which has dye in it to troubleshoot future leaks.
The condenser was $182, the high pressure line was $134, the seal kit was $28 and the oil with dye was $10.
I know I could have spent less on the parts IF I had planned the repair ahead of time, but yesterday afternoon thru this morning was the only time I had available to get it done.
The A/C system feels really good especially with today being REALLY humid after having rain off and on all day....

Speaking of, I had my AC recharged a few months ago after I replaced the heater core last Thanksgiving. I had to use the AC today, and it wasn't working. So, I'm going to take it back to the shop that did the work and see what he says.

The most common locations for leaks are the O rings for the lines, low/hi side test fittings, refrigerant lines and the compressor shaft seal.

Which fenders do you have on the Rubi?

Genright Aluminum- painted them prior to install. I also have a thread on the install, nothing brilliant.

I love their aesthetics- you get lots of splash and road grime though.

It’s all the fault of @Plumber1 ,
I was happy in life til I saw his awesome rig.

I like the OEM fenders, but can't find a good Mopar passenger one that I would t have to repaint. Painting wouldn't match the 24 year old paint on the rest of the body.

Those are the best looking aftermarket ones I've seen. I could at least spray them myself and have them somewhat match 😆

I edited the post - Genright nailed the lines.

They are a job to install.
