What did you do to your TJ today?

As @PG.'s unofficial agent, surely he's not blaming you...but that new driveshaft ain't gonna pay for itself, and guilt by association is a very real thing... :geek:

I've got my own repairs to fund....

Guess a Go-Fund-Me account might help...

I’m thinking about buying a TW driveshaft off a fellow member that’s selling his unused. My problem is making sure it fits. unfortunately Tom woods hung up on me twice yesterday when I called to ask if it will fit. Maybe someone here has any input. He said the invoice when he bought the driveshaft is 41 inches center to center u joint working length. When I measure my yoke face to yoke face I get 40.25.

This might help:
How much of my spline should be showing?

What u-joints are you running on your Currie axle? Just asking to make sure the shaft you're looking at has the correct joints....

(yesterday) Completed my inside LED light swap with the footwell, HVAC control, and rocker lights.

My Failure Analysis of the cracked exhaust manifold noted the entire exhaust system swings back and forth, putting a lot of stress on the manifold that is the front attachment point. My resolution was installing a unversal exhaust hanger near the oil pan area to support the pipes and stop the movement. The astrophysicist modification is doing the same thing.

Thank you. Seemed the most likely reason and the motor / transmission a good place to connect to.

Thinking. Your mod easier to implement and work on.

Thumbs up for the pooch. Blue Heeler? (y)

TY, she's a good girl. Blue Heeler, Toy Aussie, and a little bit of Husky.

Her papers say she's a Border Collie/Toy Aussie...but things made way more sense after I did a DNA test.

Sometimes she really wants to play fetch and other times she stares at me after I throw the ball like "I'm not your clown" (Husky!).
