This was @mvigo at a jeeptober event a number of years ago when he drove 2 hrs in 35° weather to meet us at the trailhead.
I booked a room in Salida. If the weather complies and nothing derails my availability then I am in.

Jeff, Carnage is a blast. The trail is feast or famine. Winching the exit is not a bad mark on completion. Now Chinamans can be fun too. Just a little more fun for the majority.
