My son asked me last week what I would do with my free time once I was done with the jeep. I told him it’s my only hobby so if I finish it I won’t have a hobby anymore. Thus it will never be finished, I will just keep inventing more things to do to it.
Fwiw, 3M Dual Lock has been my go-to adhesive fastener for years after nothing else held up to AZ or engine bay heat. It was about $3-$4 for packs of small strips, so I was happy to find it available in rolls...better value and reduces waste when cutting for your needs.
3M's website says it's rated to 200*f.
It holds up my speedo healer to the side of the PDC and fastens the Bedtred to the tunnel since it was bunched up and interfering with the LS2's throttle pedal.
Note: I more recently purchased an all black foam version for aesthetics, but I can't say with certainty that it's the 220*f "cf" variant and not a lower strength version that looks exactly the same on the computer screen. It's claimed as an "a" variant but that doesn't exist. No problems with it so far, but I don't want to set anyone up for failure and cause folks to question the proven stuff.

Looking at the condition of one of those bolts, I consider myself lucky and thankful that I remembered to bathe it in Kroil a few times in the past days

I think the ones I bought are rated to about 150* f. Can't remember for sure though.
