Savvy shipping charges

I think Savvy has refunded me shipping on a good amount of my orders without me ever asking.

I went and found my shipping costs from September 2018 just to see if covid changed anything. This is for shipping to Chicago. Seems like things have gone up in price quite a bit as people have said above.

I have not
I wouldn't write off a source of ultra high quality parts as aftermarket parts are getting harder to come by for TJ's.
You won't be disappointed with their products, I'm sure of that!

Savvy has their quirks but it's certainly not in quality. The shipping costs have gone through the roof for all suppliers but if you can get a hold of them, you can get a more accurate shipping price. The web quotes crazy prices and usually aren't correct.
We all want our ordered items fast and sometimes you have to wait a bit longer for back ordered items. I waited nine weeks for rocker sliders and know if they could have shipped it sooner, they would have.

Give them a chance and use a promo code. Just know that Savvy parts don't like to be alone!

thanks Guys, everything thing i have read is that they are the best of the best.... but damn, fix the damn shipping/check out options haha

As a guy who does web design and development for a living, believe me when I say quoting accurate shipping charges via a shopping card is a massive pain in the ass, seriously.

Unless you've been down this route before, you have no idea what you're dealing with.

For this reason alone I encourage most of my clients who ship things to build the price of shipping into the price of the product, which is what many companies do nowadays.

Precisely why we went to 100 dollar flat rate shipping on the big brake kits. Not only is it a pain in the ass to get the shopping cart to get close to accurate pricing, the jumps in cost are ludicrous. About the 5th time I got the "is it really 185 dollars to ship to NY?" question I'd had enough. Now we just eat the difference. But, there some places where it is cheaper so I have to tell them to pick the cheaper of the two options.

Exactly

The only way to do it and not lose your mind is to offer table rates, flat rate, or just build shipping into the cost of the product.

I’ve messed around with the UPS dynamic shipping rates and it’s all over the fucking map. Half the time it gets it close, the other half it’s so far off that people start calling wondering why shipping costs are so absurd.

50 Bucks for BL and MML? WTF?
Quadratec quote shipping of $40.94 on the MORE 1" body lift...

...but that is shipping it to the UK!

Another example, the Savvy TC cable shifter is $169.95 but they quoted me $233.55 to ship it to the UK. A similar Novak TC cable shifter is priced at $189.99 at Quadratec, the shipping quote I had was $37.23. I know Quadratec must get a better price because they ship a lot more stuff, but even so I can't see that accounting for the difference. Surely shipping quotes like this must be costing Savvy business?

That should handle it, and you would be set up for the tummy tuck should you decide to do it. Note, some LJ's get away with 4" of lift with out the vibration issue due to the wheel base. I when I did my lift I went with the SYE and never tried it without.

I have slight vibes. I dropped the Tranny Skid 7 washers to test it and it went away 90%. I think the MML/BL will do it so i can remove the Tranny SKid Drop

Not for nothing but I have a pair of latches on the way from UK to here. They are small, would fit in a 4" x 4" x 9" long box and weigh less than 5 lbs. Freight is over 50 bucks.

All I know is there is no rhyme or reason to shipping costs. If you want to see really dumb prices, do USPS outside of their flat rate stuff. We get folks ship stuff back to us in a large flat rate box that they neglected to stick under the flat rate charges for reasons I can't figure out. 38-40 bucks in postage on the label stuck on a large flat rate box that is roughly 20 bucks to ship.

If you told me I could get a shifter size box to the UK for under 40 bucks, I would have to do it to believe it.

It seems to be the worst when ordering multiple items. Like they add it up as if shipping everything separately. One time I ordered some UCAs and it added $25 in shipping to add a couple of Johnny joints. I ended up just ordering the UCAs from savvy and found the JJs from an Amazon seller. If I were you I'd buy the Savvy BL and just get a rough country MML on Amazon.

I'm gonna be in the same boat fairly soon, cause I want a savvy BL and steering box skid, and also a MML. Shipping is probably gonna be $120 🤣
