Hi all. Tried searching forum, couldn't find what I needed.
Does anyone know the spring free height of the H&S 52107 springs?
As far as I'm aware stock front is 17"
Rear is 12".
I'm needing some springs about an inch to two inches taller uncompressed that don't lift the Jeep too much 2">
Good afternoon All!
I need to replace the shocks on my Jeep. It is old; it was not maintained; and the roads on St Thomas are rough. I need new shocks, and could probably replace other suspension components. But really, I plan on putting a 2.5" lift on it too. Shipping is hard here, so I...
My Tj's rear passenger coil spring is sagging pretty badly so I figure it's time I get new coil springs and just get all of them replaced since they all are probably worn and ready to retire.
I use it on road as my daily driver and when needed I tow trailers of wood. so it's mostly used on road...
For your consideration is a set of Metalcloak 3.5" lift coils for TJ or LJ. See pictures for condition of powder-coating. There is some surface rust, particularly where the narrow coils stacked up.
Buyer to pay actual shipping cost as well.
Thanks for looking!
Anyone with a light TJ (4cyl, soft top, half doors) running the Metalcloak 3.5 inch coils? Very curious how much actual lift I would get.
I haven’t been here long, but it’s been long enough for me to see some of you speak up about disliking Metalcloak coils.
What I like about them on paper is...
Installed 3/13/2020 and Removed 9/11/2020.
1,630 miles of use - mostly highway and about 40 miles of mild trail use.
I am trying to get rid of these because I did not need the amount of lift that they provided. They rode fantastically, but were too tall for my liking. I do not need these...
Hey all! Happy holidays and wheeling this time of year.
I currently have the Rough Country 4 inch X series suspension lift, savvy inch and a quarter body lift, JKS adjustable rear track bar, BFG KO2 35’s, chrome moly axles, 4:56 gears front and back, brown dog 1” motor mounts and tummy tuck...
These coils have approx 30k miles. From Savvy website:
For 1997-2006 Jeep TJ’s and LJ’s. These special heavy duty coil springs replace factory springs and are designed to work with Johnny Joint® suspension systems and otherwise. This set features our standard front springs and our heavy rate...
Hey guys. Selling my stock coil springs off my '03 since I've gone up to the OME kit. Asking $50 for the full set of springs, plus whatever shipping is. Local pickup is cool too.
Hey all.
I have a full set of JK coil springs, and have been contemplating putting them on my TJ. I don’t know a lot about suspension, but I had a friend suggest to me the other day to put my current front coil springs on the rear end of my TJ, and replace the front coils with the JK front coil...
I recently got the opportunity to acquire a free jeep JL suspension and I’ve seen people put jk springs and shocks on a tj and was wondering if it could be done with JL springs and shocks?
Hey everyone,
This is my first post on this forum.
I have seen some posts about JK coil springs on Tj's but I'm still a little bit confused. I don't have too much of a mechanical background with suspension systems, so please bear with my questions.
I received a full set of JK coil springs...
I have several misc parts for sale from past projects. I do not want to ship these parts.
2005 Jeep TJ/LJ
$85 for the pair - Stock Rear Dana 44 axle shafts
$85 for the pair - Dana 30 outer axle shafts. Came from an axle I bought. Was told they are Chrome-Moly. (1) shaft clearly shows the...
Hello all,
So obviously, the two springs that are recommended most on this forum are the 2.5" OME springs and the 4" Currie Springs, but I can't seem to find much information on the 4" OME springs. In fact, even looking for a place to buy the springs is difficult - tho only place I see them...
So I'm learning more and more about my jeep every day. It apparently has coil spacers for the lift and a couple of them are in rough shape. I'd like to upgrade the springs instead of getting new spacers. I'd also like to get blue springs to match my jeep, but I don't know the spring size I need...
Glad i found this TJ only forum. Im in the market for coil springs. DO NOT want to install a set that ends up with a forward rake. Interested in the currie 4's, RK 3 1/2 "dual rate", Synergy 4's. Can you guys help me out here?
