My frame is completed enough where I have installed the axles and suspension. I’m now looking to get a remanufactured engine and put a new transmission on. I was looking at two options the Titan engines and the S&j engines both reasonably priced for 4.0L stock engine. Don’t think I want to go with a stroker but not certain yet. Is there any recommendations on whether to go with Titan or S&J for remanufactured engine purchase?

Since you want to run 35" tires I'd look into a stroker if you can afford it. Can't help as to which company is better than the other.
