Hi All!

So I went ahead and got a motor mount lift. A 1 inch Rough country Aluminum block lift.

I have JUST seen posted on facebook marketplace a new "CU2883-, 2" Motor Mount, Ultra -Flex Rubber" for 50 bucks Canadian!

Is there any advantage to a 2" over a 1" motor mount lift?
Is a 2 inch harder to install since more has to be shifted up?
I there a concern with the hood still closing properly? (2 inches seems like a lot)
Is 2 inch MM lift even better for driveline angle?

I was going to buy a 1.25 body mount lift as well.

If there's no difference with going with the 2" mm lift then I'll get it since it's cheaper and frankly it's the WHOLE bracket not just the blocks.

Cheers!

Stick with the 1”. As it says in the description, 2” is for extreme modifications. You want to match your MML height to your body lift height.

Ignore the feeling of a good deal with the 2" - that's just someone trying to offload their misunderstanding to a buyer. Stick with the 1" (MORE Bombproof, browndog, any spacers, etc - in no particular order).

Depending upon the age and condition of your existing mounts, you may want to go with a 1" lifted mount or replace your stock mounts when you install a 1" mount lift block.
