1999 TJ Custom 4.9 stroker

Ok so I frame off restored my 1999 jeep tj I originally bought the 4.9 titan monster stroker and let me tell you what those guys down in Florida have absolutely no clue what they're doing and whoever runs their shop should be fired the motor only lasted 5,000 miles so now I have my race shop guy building a completely custom 4.9 stroker and I need some advice from my jeep family.

What kind of advice are you after?

I've heard horror stories about stroker engines before, so this doesn't surprise me.
 
The titan 4.9 I bought was junk titan gets the displacement from a 4 inch cylinder bore and they didn't deck the head right so I was leaking coolant from there and when they do that 4 inch bore they have to re sleeve the cylinders and the sleeves sit on a ledge well 5 of the 6 cylinders were leaking by the ledge as well

And now I'm doing a custom built 4.9 stroker bored 80 over but I'm getting my displacement form a custom ground crank custom rods and custom connecting rods that will give me a 6 inch stroke

Took the 12 counterweight crank out of a 258cc inline six and it's being custom ground and then he had to machine custom connecting rods and he had to order these crazy pistons

It measures out to a 6 inch stroke but that's all my machine shop guy Doug over at Freeman's racing in West Virginia that's all he does is build strokers but anyway my question and the reason why I need your guys feedback is because with this 4.9 stroker build we're turning it up a notch and doing adjustable roller rockers with these crazy big valves he put in the head along with a stage 3 voodoo cam and I am going to have to run a programmer on this set up and I'd like something that's on dash and shows live air fuel mixtures the whole nine what do you guys run or what do you recommend

Back in the day I ran an Apex'i SAFC-II. It mounted on the dash and gave you full control over the air / fuel mixture. Granted this was on a Mitsubishi Evo, but nonetheless, it can be made to work with any vehicle. It's an option for you!

Either something like that (which is a piggyback controller) or a full on independent engine management system such as a Megasquirt.

So like I asked before someone took us off target all I need to know is what's the best programmer I can get that will give me live readings

This is what I was referring to, these work really well as a piggyback controller for controlling air fuel mixture, and you can easily adjust it from your dash via a very nice, user friendly interface.

You'd like it. It will give you pretty much complete control over our and fuel mixtures. It worked REALLY, REALLY well for me when I used it. I think it would be exactly like what you are after. I say go for it!
 
They're easy to hook up, and I think you'll find the user interface is very easy to configure and use. You can monitor real-time data on it as well.
