1999 TJ TPS / Throttle Body Question

I'm replacing my TPS on my throttle body. I took a torch to the screw because they wouldn't come out. And I notice a orangeish liquid coming out around the shaft, it dried hard. Did I just melt a gasket or something or is this some of the loctite?

You can remove the screws from the butterfly valve and slide the shaft out of the TB for inspection, cleaning and lubrication.

I can replace those nylon bushings in between the shaft bearing with orings?

I do not recall any nylon bushings in there, just remove the shaft and inspect it.

No, my shaft wasn't loose. I just melted the bushing with a torch when trying to take out my TPS screws. I'm kinda worried about putting orings in.
