I'm replacing the upper idler pulley on my 2.5 due to some noise it's making (the pulley next to the AC compressor in the diagram). I bought an idler pulley from napa and then realized that the two idler pulleys on the engine are different sizes. The idler pulley just below the power steering pump is the same as the one I bought and was considerably larger. I couldn't find anything on the internet that differentiates them but they are definitely not the same. Does anyone know what the difference is? Would the same pulley work in the other location?
