Greetings, first post to the forum here….I have a 2000 TJ SE with an automatic transmission and a 2” lift. I’d like to run 32 x 11.5’s and have a balance in on and off-road performance. I am okay with the power of the 2.5,; what I want to do is maximize capability. With that in mind, what gear ratio should I upgrade to and what are good options for lockers? Regards.

More than likely your Jeep has the Dana 35 in the rear and installing a locker is not advisable.
You risk the chance of twisting the splines off the axle shafts.
The locker and larger tires apply a lot of torque to the axle shafts when used on rock surfaces, but when used in dirt and mud the axle shafts will last longer.
