Yeah, no doubt PCMs are expensive. I'd suggest eBay, Davey's Jeeps, and https://www.car-part.com as well.

I was just curious and looked for an 06. The PCM for manual trans is more than DOUBLE the price for a unit for auto trans.

For a 2002 auto, He wants more than a new Mopar computer. Assuming some of these vendors that show it in stock actually still have one.

Yes, @Wranglerfix and I had this conversation. Mark told me that the 05-06 PCMs for manuals are much harder to come by.

Makes me glad I have a 06 manual

The build process on a manual pcm requires a lot more tech time and testing than the automatics...the part we use in our solution is also getting harder to find, therefore driving the price up.
