Finished installing the fenders and inners this weekend, nothing major but there have been a lot of little revisions to get them where I think they should be. The vents are just laser cut pieces that you will push open bending the tabs. I may make a few versions but I like how these turned out.
The inners finally fit, they clear the steering block by about a 1/8" on the drivers side and stay close to frame. I am going to close the gap around the spring perch a little, I also made this center panel removable from the outside using U-clip nuts so they can be removed for oil changes and any other service that may be needed (thank
@mrblaine for that detail) I liked the look of one piece but the function of it being removable out ways the form. I am not sure if the steering block bracket changes location or size thru the years so you guys may have to trim the edge if it does. I have 1.25 Bodylift. They should work for both, they are easily trimmed if needed.
I am breaking this kit up. It seems like there will be some that want just the fenders and some may already have fenders and want just the battery tray.

The flares are next. They are relatively easy now that the bases are done. That design has not changed and they will bolt on as planned. I will post pics as the prototypes are made.

time to clean up and mount stuff woohoo, less zip ties!!! I love the large radiused edge, most may not care but these little things make me giddy lol
Eventually I will try and make some AC hoses and maybe air cleaner solution that uses a paper filter and takes air from right behind the headlight. I also have some ideas on a widget that replaces the strut rods providing more mounting accessory options and cleaning up the engine bay....
This area took more effort then it seems. Everyone does some funky stuff here trying to "match" the grill angle. You have this nice radiused edge then these odd angular break angles in the attempt to blend parts. I have never liked the looks of that on any fender. I ended up on a simple 90 that keeps the sightline smooth and to my eye matches the rest of the profile body lines. The OE fender has the same challenge, the sheet metal does some funky stuff if you look at how the OE fenders work with the grill. I will not be adding holes for turn signals, you can easily drill and mount whatever signals you like.
