Ok so I've had my jeep for a while and I've never made an official build thread. And since I'm about to start working on a cage I might as well get all the info out there.
It's a 2006 rubicon
4.0 liter with a k&n cold air intake
LED headlights
Spiderweb shade
G2 front and rear diff covers
Factory front air locker
Full spool in the rear
2.5 inch spring lift
1.25 inch body lift
1 inch motor mount lift
RC belly skid
Poison spyder aluminum high line fenders
Poison spyder sliders and rear corners
Half ass chopped rear to prevent rubbing
Master craft seats
DIY bed lined
RCI fuel cell with factory pump/housing
36 inch TSL on factory beadlocks
Pioneer headunit
Aftermarket speakers
Alpine amp powering (2) 10 inch subs.

I do all the wrenching. I haven't ran into anything I can't do really. I'm sure a clutch or trans would prove a different story.

ATTENTION WELDERS/ METAL FABRICATION DUDES

So now with me about to begin a cage I'm not a welder, or metal fabricator. At all. But my buddy welds for the company I work for so I'm sure we can get our noggins together and figure it out. My cage I plan to do will add on to the factory cage. Including but not limited to overhead driver support, harness bar, cross members, and a shelf/interior cargo rack above the fuel cell. What material should I use to add to this cage?
