2006 Rubicon Front Pinion Nut

I am new to the forum and many apologies if this is the wrong place or if this has been addressed...I searched and found a couple of threads for setting preload. I am hoping to avoid that. I removed my front pinion nut and did not count the threads...I do have rough alignment mark. two questions please.
1. Can I reuse the original nut with plenty of blue loctite?
2. Can i put the nut on until i get into the torque range 160-200 then align nut to rough alignment mark?
FSM says to install nut and torque to 160-200.

I am hoping I don't have to pull everything apart and reset preload.

Seems usually a new crush nut is preferred - we have some seasoned guys that may post a definitive answer.

Use red loctite, not blue. Be sure to clean the threads on both the nut and pinion with brakleen. Torque to 160 and call it good.

I used to be of the opinion to replace the crush sleeve, but after doing some survey and research with a gear experts group and have changed my mind.

If he has a rubicon as mentioned in the thread title, wouldn’t that mean he has a Dana 44 so shims not crush sleeve?

You don't align marks or threads on your Dana 44's. You torque to spec with a new nut or red loctite like hosejockey said

I didn't even catch the part about it being a Rubicon with a Dana 44. Just torque 160-200 and use red loctite.

You don't align marks or threads on your Dana 44's. You torque to spec with a new nut or red loctite like hosejockey said

Does the torque value matter? 160-200 is a wide range.
