2006 Wrangler X

We just bought our Wrangler last week. We want to get seat covers. Any recommendations for durable covers that fit the seats really well?

I don't think there is any question about it, the IGGEE seat covers are hands down one of the most popular choices for seat covers for the Jeep Wrangler TJ. Not only are they amazing quality, but they fit so damn well, you honestly won't even know it's a seat cover (no kidding).

You can order them in any color you want (i.e. black with a yellow center), and they are synthetic leather, which will hold up and won't overheat you.

Stay away from ANYTHING made with neoprene. Worst material ever for seat covers.

Make sure to order them on eBay. It's way cheaper to get them on eBay than ordering them from their online store. Not sure why, but it is.

And FYI, you can get the centers in any color you want. Yellow would look cool though since it would match your Jeep!

I had neoprene and could not wait to get rid of them. Nice and snuggy warm in the winter but a real sweat bear in warm weather. Hated them!

Another slightly stupid "new jeep owner" question. Are the seats in our wrangler TJ the same at the seats in a 2003-2006 Rubicon? The eBay link specifies Rubicon and I don't want to order the wrong thing.

Yes, they are the same.

The 97-02 Wrangler had a different style seat. However, from 03-06 they changed it so that the seats had a 'high back'.

So, a seat or seat cover for a 03-06 Rubicon WILL fit any 03-06 TJ, regardless of what model it is (i.e. Sport, X, SE, Sahara, etc.).

However, a seat or seat cover from a 97-02 TJ will NOT fit a 03-06.
