2022 JLU Rubicon has entered the chat

Wife has never been a fan of my (our) TJ, but has been looking at getting a Wrangler. Found a 2022 Rubicon in her preferred color, Firecracker Red the other day. It's a lease return with only 13K miles, and after test driving it, it followed us home

We're past the bumper to bumper warranty due to time, not miles, so any work not associated with drivetrain will likely fall to me. Is there another forum like this one for the JLU models? I love the high signal to noise ratio of wranglertjforum.com, and hope to find something like it for her new toy.

V6.

We test drove both in the 2026 model and it was noticeable (to me, at least) that the V6 did better at getting up to highway speeds. This thing is going to be mostly a mall crawler/pavement princess, so that works for her.

The other options she was adamant about were automatic transmission and Cold Weather Package, and this has both. Is it the Jeep of my dreams, and will it be a trail ride? No and no, but my TJ scratches those itches.
