Held one the other day and walked away wanting it! I'll bet that thing has some serious kick.

The X frames are heavy enough that they effectively absorb a lot of that recoil, especially with a ported muzzle. Way more pleasant to shoot than a S&W 329PD with +P bear loads which are actually painful. All you have to do is ignore that somewhat impressive muzzle blast.

The best part is they label the bear spray can with an expiration date expecting you to replace it annually-ish... I haven't found that on any of my firearms yet...

Yes and no. It works about 90% of the time and is great for someone not proficient with other defensive means. Personally, I'm not betting on that other 10%.

I tried to go with a s&w 44 for bear loads,I called them up,asked how many grains is there 44 snubby warranty for,they told me(up to 300 grain)nope,went with super Alaskan,even grizzly or underwood’s bear loads specifically say on the box only use on these handguns,and s&w is not one of them.

I was able to get the un ported end cap for my 460. Fun to shoot no matter what.

Yep, I'd imagine that would scare most people off after one shot! Cool looking revolver though!

There’s been people who kill themselves by accidentally pulling the trigger again fighting the recoil when the barrel is pointed at their head.
