Just to give an alternative point of view, I’ve had ATS build two trannys for me and I’ve had great luck with them. The first was a 42RLE which I ran behind a supercharged I6 - no problems at all and I beat the hell out of that thing.

The second is a 545RFE built for 700 horsepower, which I run behind my 392 Hemi. No issues there either. I also beat the hell out of this one, and trust me when I say the Hemi makes some hell.

Both tranny’s are crazy smooth, and ATS does a bunch of work on them to beef them up. I for one am quite happy with them and would definitely use them again.

I wish my experience were more like yours.
